ONLINE SKILLS PROGRAM

 EYBC INDIVIDUAL ONLINE SKILLS PROGRAM

EYBC Parents and Players,

This Fall we are launching our first Individual Online Skills Program. This program is to assist our players who want  to work on their game despite our current limitations with team and club activities. It is a 6-Week Program that includes 3 Main Skills each week. The document  will include a brief description of each drill along with a link to a YouTube video of some of our own EYBC players demonstrating the specific drills.

The goal for each player should be to complete the 3 Main Skills for a minimum of 3 Days a week for 30 Minutes each day. There are 3-levels of each drill to give options for players to challenge themselves based on their ability as well.

You will see at the end of each week there is a Skill Challenge drill where players will track their shots-made and if they’d like to they can email myself (Coach Crook) with their name, grade, and # of shots made once each week and I will record their progress and we will post records on our website at times throughout the program.

Our hope is that this plan will be an example for players and families to understand what type of time resources are available and what kind of daily/weekly time commitment players should put towards their game if they’d like to stay on track to compete at the High School Varsity level one day.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to myself via email anytime during the program. You can also submit videos of yourself doing drills to myself via email if you’d like feedback or other ideas for what you can work on this season!

Hope you all enjoy the program and the opportunity to play this wonderful game!
