WEEK 4 SKILLS

Goal is to complete 1 level of each skill at least 3 days a week! Should come out to be a minimum of about a 30 Minute work-out per day.







Ball Handling
2 Ball Series (10 min per day)

3 Levels:

Beginner: 4 cones (15ft apart) zig zag. 2 Ball - Dribble at same time to each cone!

Intermediate: Repeat Beginner steps. Add 2-Ball alternating dribble, and switch/cross at each cone.

Advanced: Repeat Intermediate steps. Add 2-Ball cross/thru legs and cross behind back at each cone.

Shooting
Jab-step, Jump-Shot Series (10 Min per day)

3 Levels:

Beginner: 5 spots (7-8ft from rim), Spin-pass to self, jab step with strong foot, then to jump shot.

Intermediate: 5 spots (10-15ft from rim), Spin-pass to self, jab step with strong foot, then to jump shot.

Advanced: 5 spots (15-20ft from rim), Spin-pass to self, jab step with strong foot, then to jump shot. Add Jab-step, back to pump fake, then 2 dribble left into mid range shot.

1 on 1 Scoring
Catch - Jab - Pumpfake - n’Go (10 Min per day)

3 Levels:

Beginner: 3 spots (2 wings and top of key), Move is… spin-pass to self, rip/jab step, back to pump fake, then attack the same side into a 2ft power finish.

Intermediate: Repeat all beginner series then ADD… finish with right and left-hand but into normal lay-up finish at each spot. Add a Floater at each also.

Advanced: Repeat all of Beginner, Intermediate, then ADD… repeated series but finish with a Floater and Reverse Lay-ups and Jump shot off dribble.

Skill Competition Drill
50 Jab Step - Jump Shots!

Spin to self, jabstep, into jump shot.
5-8th Grade = 15ft. 4th-Under = 10ft (And May Lower Hoop to 8ft). Please Use exact measurements if possible!
